Staff Spotlight - Jason MacDonald

And today we hear from our new Business Development Executive, Jason. He talks, kung fu, frog choruses and pasta bakes.

What is your role at ESE Direct?

Business Development

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I try and keep busy as much as time and family allow! I’m currently a Red belt in Wing Chung Kung Fu, Manage a women’s football team and love going to gigs and festivals!

What music are you listening to at the moment?

I’ve got an alternative taste in music, I would recommend checking out bands called Fight Like Apes, The Dead Weather but currently listening to the fantastic Wolf Alice and Foals.

What is the most embarrassing CD/MP3/ record(?!) you own?

Tucked away in a draw at home, banished from view lies a 7 inch vinyl of the Frog Chorus…. I was 3 when my parents got it for me (honest!!)

What was the last book you read and would you recommend it?

The instructions to my sound bar… I would recommend it otherwise you wouldn’t be able to get it set up and working.

What are your top 5 favourite films?

What is your favourite food, and when was the last time you ate it?

My other half makes a mean Pasta Bake! It was last week

A volley ball named Wilson

If you could have dinner with 3 people living or dead who would it be and why?

Dave Grohl - nothing short of a genius
Stephen Hawking - Is a Genius
Bruce Lee - for the philosophy he had on life

What is your hidden talent?

I can do a number of impressions ranging from the Aliens in Toy Story, right up through numerous Simpsons characters, Scooby doo and Shaggy, The Joker from the animated Series of Batman and (unnervingly) Jigsaw from the Saw films!
