Metal flammable storage COSHH cabinets designed for the safe storage of flammable liquids with a bright powder-coated finish

The careful storage of hazardous chemicals, such as flammable liquids, is an important part of health and safety requirements. Keeping such chemicals in a locked and sturdy cabinet or cupboard will reduce the likelihood of accidents. As a result, employees are protected, as well as members of the public and the environment. These Flammable Liquid Storage Cabinets are specially designed to store flammable liquids safely. They come with suitable warning labels and additional flammable liquid warning labels that are available for purchase separately.

These COSHH cabinets are available in various bright colours and various sizes. FC13 is the smallest flammable storage cabinet in the range and is 460mm in height, 460mm wide and 305mm deep. The largest cabinet in the range is FC08, which is 1830mm tall, 460mm deep and 915mm wide. The smaller cabinets in the range have a single door and one shelf, while the larger cabinets have two doors and may have two or three shelves. The sump depth for the smaller cupboards is 50mm, whilst for the larger cabinets, it is 150mm.

Lead times: Yellow COSHH cabinets - 7-10 working days, all other colours 15-20 working days.

Delivery of bulky/heavy items is usually by a lone driver and may require special delivery arrangements, eg. mechanical. Please call for advice.

Chemical Storage Guidelines

It is important to purchase a cabinet that complies with all the relevant regulations when buying one to store flammable liquids. These flammable storage cabinets meet the following regulations:

Free UK mainland delivery on orders over £50 ex.VAT.

Orders under £50 ex.VAT - £5.95 delivery charge.

Postcode exceptions: HS, KW, ZE, IV, AB, DD, PH, PA, GY, JE, IM, BT, Isle of Anglesey, Isle of Wight and Eire.

Standard deliveries are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm to the GROUND FLOOR or KERBSIDE only (unless previously agreed in writing).
We are unable to confirm exact delivery times, but we can usually confirm a day if you let us know in advance.

Saturday deliveries, timed AM or PM or above ground floor deliveries are available at extra cost.
Oversized products requiring a crane or hiab offload may incur an additional charge.

At the time of delivery

An authorised person must be present to sign for delivery.
Failed attempts may result in a return delivery charge.
A request to leave goods without signature is entirely at your own risk.

Please check your delivered goods carefully.
ESE Direct cannot accept claims for shortage or damage after goods have been signed for.
The only exception is proof of a carrier note that is marked as damaged.
We must also be notified in writing within 24 hours of the delivery.
Please do not sign for any goods as 'unexamined' or 'unchecked' as carriers will not accept liability for any subsequent damage.

Q. Can you remove the shelves? I am looking for a cabinet to store line marker paint. Thank you

A. The shelves are easy to remove so the full height of the cabinet can be used for the safe storage of tall paint containers and spray cans.

A. You lose 3mm in the height, 3mm in the width and 30mm front to back of the external dimensions.

A. It isn't no, you can have it any colour required as long as it is labeled correctly

Q. Are the cabinets suitable to store paperwork them to protect them if there were any fires?

A. No, i'm sorry but the cabinets are not insulated so you would get a heat transfer through the metal that could burn the documents inside

Q. can you store these cupboards outside?

A. It is not advisable to keep the cabinets outside, they are not air tight and rain could get in to the cupboard and over time flood the sump.

Q. Are the shelves perforated?

A. The shelves are not perforated in this cabinet as the sump is integrated into the bottom of the unit and any holes in the shelves would allow spilt liquid to contaminate the items on the shelves below. If any liquids do spill, the shelves direct the spillage to run down the side of the cabinet directly to the sump below.
