Pallet collars grow great produce
We are always interested to hear how or products are used by customers, especially if it is in an unusual or surprising way
This was certainly the case with Tina from Norfolk who purchased some of our wooden pallet collars.
The past twelve months have seen a huge increase in interest in gardening and growing your own produce. Tina has discovered that our pallet collars make ideal raised beds in which to plant vegetables. Simply stack the collars together, line with an appropriate porous material to ensure drainage and allow worms and insects to come and go, fill with compost and get planting.
As an extra tip, Tina told us that her husband has singed the outside of the wood in order to create a raised grain effect, which we agree really adds to the finished look.
As well as growing veg, Tina also like to support her friend's bird of prey rescue centre. To learn more about this charity and to donate, please see the Phoenix Bird of Prey Website website.
