Heavy-duty spare or replacement castors for trucks and trolleys
Lovely orangey-red polyurethane castors that are deceptively strong given their small physical stature. These castors can handle loads weighing up to 400 kilogrammes and can be simply bolted onto the bottom of your platform trolley. The castors are super-easy to install as the fixing plates are pre-drilled with bolt holes so all you need to do is the screwing.
There are a wide range of different types of wheels to select from. Fixed castors are perfect for travelling in straight lines. Where as swivel castors are the best choice for navigating around corners, round the end of warehouse aisles and through doorways, swivel castors are able to spin all the way around, yes a full 360 degrees. Swivel castors are also available with an integral brake, which can be quickly and easily deployed using your foot. Choosing castors with a brake is generally a good idea from a health and safety point of view as they prevent your trolley from rolling off on it's own when you're not looking and running over the foot of some innocent bystander! Particularly useful if you regularly use your truck or trolley in areas with sloping floors. These medium-duty castors are available in a big selection of sizes and load capacities. Generally speaking, the bigger the physical size of the castor, the larger weight they can cope with. They start at 150kg for the wheels with 100mm diameter centres up to 400kg for the 150mm diameter castors. So when selecting your castors is always worth double-checking the capacity of your trolley plus the types of items and weight you intend to carry. It's worth noting that there is a minimum order of two of each of these sturdy polyurethane castors, which is a good thing as trolleys generally work better with an even number of wheels... unless they are a wheelbarrow.
