Sealer for the crimping of metal seals onto steel strapping
When using steel strapping, a sealer tool is essential to get a proper connection between strapping and snap on seals. Unlike the tensioner tool, however, each different size of steel strapping requires its own sealer tool. Working environments that use more than one size of steel strapping will also need to order the different sealers. The worker can use the sealer tool to crimp seals on steel strapping as it is placed on pallets or wooden cases to create a strong seal that will have to be cut to be removed.
Each different size of sealer tool weighs just 1 kg, making it very easy to handle. They are available for 13 mm steel strapping, 16 mm and 19 mm. Ordering the right size is essential as the 19 mm sealer tool cannot be used to seal 13 or 16 mm. The sealer tool is not the only item that is required when packaging with steel strapping. The tensioner tool and shears are also essential and these are available as part of a kit, as well as individually.
Steel strapping has become a very popular way of sealing items that are being transported, particularly heavy duty items that require a strong seal. Tools such as the sealer tool are designed to be portable so that they can be used in different areas of the working environment and it can be an asset that improves efficiency, saving both time and money.
