Heavy-duty grit bins ideal for roadside storage, car parks and company premises

These heavy-duty 200kg grit bins are ideal for any business that wishes to provide a safe environment for pedestrians and road users in the winter months. They can be kept by the side of a road, in a car park or near a building.

Having one or more grit bins available on the premises ensures a safe and constant flow of traffic can be maintained throughout the harsh winter months. Rather than having to close entirely or, at best, open late during periods of heavy snow or being unable to clear access roads and carparks of ice following a night of frost, it is best to think ahead and have a supply of grit stored on site. These colourful grit bins come with a hasp and staple to allow you to lock the lid with a padlock, available separately.

Made in the UK, you can trust these lockable grit bins will last you for many winters. Not only that, they even come in a selection of colours, not just the common yellow version that you often see on the kerbside. There's a choice of red, blue, lime green, forest green, black and of course, yellow.

The bin measures 720mm high x 750mm wide x 710mm deep. If you enjoy these colourful 200kg grit bins but need a bit larger storage capacity for your salt, take a look at the 400L heavy-duty bins.

Free UK mainland delivery on orders over £50 ex.VAT.

Orders under £50 ex.VAT - £5.95 delivery charge.

Postcode exceptions: HS, KW, ZE, IV, AB, DD, PH, PA, GY, JE, IM, BT, Isle of Anglesey, Isle of Wight and Eire.

Standard deliveries are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm to the GROUND FLOOR or KERBSIDE only (unless previously agreed in writing).
We are unable to confirm exact delivery times, but we can usually confirm a day if you let us know in advance.

Saturday deliveries, timed AM or PM or above ground floor deliveries are available at extra cost.
Oversized products requiring a crane or hiab offload may incur an additional charge.

Lead times are displayed in working days, which excludes weekends & bank holidays.
During these unprecedented times, occasionally we are experiencing unexpected delays. If you have not received your item within the lead time shown please contact us and we will look into it as a matter of urgency.

At the time of delivery

An authorised person must be present to sign for delivery.
Failed attempts may result in a return delivery charge.
A request to leave goods without signature is entirely at your own risk.

Please check your delivered goods carefully.
ESE Direct cannot accept claims for shortage or damage after goods have been signed for.
The only exception is proof of a carrier note that is marked as damaged.
We must also be notified in writing within 24 hours of the delivery.
Please do not sign for any goods as 'unexamined' or 'unchecked' as carriers will not accept liability for any subsequent damage.

A. It can yes however you'd need to specify on ordering so the factory do not apply the transfer
