Every production facility, factory, repair shop, and engineering lab needs a sturdy and long-lasting workbench. This fully welded engineer's bench with a steel top is perfect for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. Additionally, such a bench could be used effectively as a packing surface. These quality steel workbenches are made in the UK and can handle sizeable loads of up to 1000kg, or 1 tonne if you prefer.

Equipped with a 2mm-thick steel top, this workbench is built to last a lifetime. Available in a wide range of sizes, the workbench can also be purchased with a number of accessories with everything ranging from drawers and cupboards to shelves and vices making the piece fully customisable enabling you to achieve the perfect design to fit your needs.

The standard model arrives with a dark grey frame with light grey drawers and doors unless otherwise specified. Accessories such as cupboards and drawers are available in dark grey, ruby, traffic blue, and green. The fully welded 50mm x 50mm steel square tube leg frames and 40mm x 40mm x 3mm angle worktop supports are evident of solid construction. The bench can sustain a load of up to 1000kg. There's a really big range of sizes to choose from too. All of these benches are 840mm high with the smallest depth measuring 610mm and largest depth, 910mm. There's a choice of widths too with workbench sizes including 1210mm, 1510mm and 1810mm.

Each bench comes 840mm high as a standard design, though other sizes are available upon request, do give our technical sales team a call on 0808 258 2013 and they'll be more than happy to advise. There's also a wide range of industrial seating suitable for use with this workbench which is definitely worth a look.

Delivery Charges

Free UK mainland delivery on orders over £50 ex.VAT.

Orders under £50 ex.VAT - £5.95 delivery charge.

Postcode exceptions: HS, KW, ZE, IV, AB, DD, PH, PA, GY, JE, IM, BT, Isle of Anglesey, Isle of Wight and Eire.

Standard deliveries are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm to the GROUND FLOOR or KERBSIDE only (unless previously agreed in writing).
We are unable to confirm exact delivery times, but we can usually confirm a day if you let us know in advance.

Saturday deliveries, timed AM or PM or above ground floor deliveries are available at extra cost.
Oversized products requiring a crane or hiab offload may incur an additional charge.

Lead times are displayed in working days, which excludes weekends & bank holidays.
During these unprecedented times, occasionally we are experiencing unexpected delays. If you have not received your item within the lead time shown please contact us and we will look into it as a matter of urgency.

At the time of delivery

An authorised person must be present to sign for delivery.
Failed attempts may result in a return delivery charge.
A request to leave goods without signature is entirely at your own risk.

Please check your delivered goods carefully.
ESE Direct cannot accept claims for shortage or damage after goods have been signed for.
The only exception is proof of a carrier note that is marked as damaged.
We must also be notified in writing within 24 hours of the delivery.
Please do not sign for any goods as 'unexamined' or 'unchecked' as carriers will not accept liability for any subsequent damage.
