These heavy-duty bollards are useful for several purposes, including deterring burglary, containing crowds, and preventing through traffic. These bollards stand 1000 mm high and reach 400 mm below the ground, which means that they are well-grounded and strong enough to stand up to the most determined pedestrian or traveller.

Since these fixed-flange bollards are designed for outdoor use, they can be helpful to many businesses and commercial areas that rely on outdoor traffic. Luxury jewellery and boutiques may use them to prevent ram raid burglaries, since thieves will be unable to drive their vehicles past the bollards into the shop fronts. They may also be useful for banks and electronics retailers, which are also frequent ram raid targets.

Galvanised bollards are also useful in outdoor pedestrian areas such as shopping centres and parks, since they serve to both restrict and direct foot traffic through the area. The fixed heavy-duty galvanised bollards measure 101mm diameter and are different from other bollards in that they are made of plain, unpainted steel and are designed to be bolted into the surface. Standard deliveries are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm to the GROUND FLOOR or KERBSIDE only (unless previously agreed in writing).
We are unable to confirm exact delivery times, but we can usually confirm a day if you let us know in advance.

Saturday deliveries, timed AM or PM or above ground floor deliveries are available at extra cost.
Oversized products requiring a crane or hiab offload may incur an additional charge.

At the time of delivery

An authorised person must be present to sign for delivery.
Failed attempts may result in a return delivery charge.
A request to leave goods without signature is entirely at your own risk.

Please check your delivered goods carefully.
ESE Direct cannot accept claims for shortage or damage after goods have been signed for.
The only exception is proof of a carrier note that is marked as damaged.
We must also be notified in writing within 24 hours of the delivery.
Please do not sign for any goods as 'unexamined' or 'unchecked' as carriers will not accept liability for any subsequent damage.

138121403 - The finish of the galvanised steel post was very poor.

ESE Direct Reply - Galvanising is applied by dipping the product into molten treatment and is designed to provide significantly enhanced weather protection rather than a paint like finish. Powder coating on top of the galvanising is often available on request to provide an enhanced appearance, but does cost extra and often extends the lead time.
