10m rolls of black electrical safety matting
Electrical safety matting is an essential product in workplaces where employees work in close proximity to live conductors. This electrical safety matting is specifically designed to protect people from hazardous electric shocks, making it the perfect choice around high-voltage switchboards, electrically-charged equipment like transformers and generators or electric work benches.
This ribbed rubber electrical safety matting uses a high-quality rubber compound that makes it robust and provides a higher degree of electrical insulation. This electrical safety matting has a fine fluted surface that makes it non-slip and has a cloth impression finish along the underside that provides a firm grip on the floor. Importantly, the 9mm electrical safety floor matting has been tested for voltage in accordance with the BS921 (1976) standard.
The ribbed rubber electrical safety matting is available in 6mm and 9mm thickness. The 6mm thick matting has a maximum working voltage of 450V, tested up to 11,000V and the 9mm thick mat has a maximum working voltage of 650V, tested up to 15,000V.
This ribbed electrical safety matting is available to purchase on a 10 metre roll in two widths. Choose from 900mm or 1200mm wide and decide if you want the 6mm thick or 9mm thick option. We aim to deliver the rolls of electrical safety matting within 3 to 5 working days from the date of receiving your order.
PLEASE NOTE: Rubber matting is a natural product and unfortunately that means it does have its own unavoidable odour. This odour will disappear over a short period of time if the matting is left in a well-ventilated area, alternatively, other odour absorbing products can also be used to speed up the process. Check out our handy blog with tips and tricks for helping to remove the smell of rubber matting.
