Automatic bottom empty skips allow the simple but effective disposal of light to medium weight waste when being automatically emptied into high sided yard skips via the base release mechanism, without the driver leaving the safety of their seat
Many factories use two bottom empty forklift skips for enhanced waste segregation. Choose from three capacities, 550kg, 750kg and 950kg.
Every factory or warehouse manager knows the real value of skips, the large open-topped waste containers used to collect light to medium weight waste and scrap materials. This automatic bottom empty forklift-mounted skip allows for the simple and effective disposal of factory waste in just minutes, and because an automatic opening mechanism is provided the operator never has to leave the safety their cab.
These industrial waste bins are ideal for common factory and warehouse waste and are easily emptied via the drop bottom base, which features self-closing latches. Once the bottom has been opened, all waste is quickly and completely cleared thanks to the streamlined design of the skip. Fitted with heavy-duty castors, the skip can be easily manoeuvred by hand, without the need for a forklift or similar vehicle.
The movement and disposal of factory or warehouse waste is made significantly more efficient with this bottom empty skip, which is designed to be loaded onto a specialised lorry for emptying directly into a landfill or transfer station. Keeping a warehouse or factory tidy is made significantly easier by installing a bottom empty skip.

Free UK mainland delivery on orders over £50 ex.VAT.
Orders under £50 ex.VAT - £5.95 delivery charge.
Postcode exceptions: HS, KW, ZE, IV, AB, DD, PH, PA, GY, JE, IM, BT, Isle of Anglesey, Isle of Wight and Eire.
Standard deliveries are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm to the GROUND FLOOR or KERBSIDE only (unless previously agreed in writing).
We are unable to confirm exact delivery times, but we can usually confirm a day if you let us know in advance.
Saturday deliveries, timed AM or PM or above ground floor deliveries are available at extra cost.
Oversized products requiring a crane or hiab offload may incur an additional charge.

During these unprecedented times, occasionally we are experiencing unexpected delays. If you have not received your item within the lead time shown please contact us and we will look into it as a matter of urgency.

At the time of delivery
An authorised person must be present to sign for delivery.
Failed attempts may result in a return delivery charge.
A request to leave goods without signature is entirely at your own risk.
Please check your delivered goods carefully.
ESE Direct cannot accept claims for shortage or damage after goods have been signed for.
The only exception is proof of a carrier note that is marked as damaged.
We must also be notified in writing within 24 hours of the delivery.
Please do not sign for any goods as 'unexamined' or 'unchecked' as carriers will not accept liability for any subsequent damage.

Q. How far does the bottom door open/drop to allow the contents to be released?
A. The door will open 90°

Q. How does the automatic opening work as the picture does not show all round detail.
A. They open by the fork lift driver positioning the actuator plates (shown at the bottom rear of the skip) over the side of the yard skip, then the bottom emptying skip is lowered so the actuator plates are activated by the top side of the yard skip, this releases the hooks and allows the bottom to open. Once emptied, the bottom opening skip is raised to allow the open bottom door to clear the yard skip and once clear the bottom open skip is lowered to the ground which automatically closes and re-latches the bottom door
