Provide safe and speedy access from a loading dock
Make loading and unloading from vehicles to docking bays easier with these safe and strong aluminium dock plates. Dock plates provide a simple and low cost solution for unloading goods from trucks and trailers by bridging the gap between vehicle and loading dock. Their use ensures that goods are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently.
These plates are available in a variety of sizes and are simple to install, fitting any existing loading dock. Ideal for use with pallet trucks, sack trucks and roll cages, they can even be used to mark access ways for pedestrians. They have an anti-slip surface to ensure safety for the user.
The smallest standard size dock plate measures 915mm wide x 1,220mm long, while the largest is 1,525mm wide x 1,525mm long. Whilst the smaller plates are light enough for manual lifting, for health and safety reasons any plate over 25kg will require two people; plates weighing over 50kg will require mechanical assistance. We also offer load steps for safe access on and off vehicles.
