Single nylon reinforced rubber wheel chock ensures that vehicle will not move when being jacked or parked on an incline
For heavy vehicles or those that are loaded with goods, several of these heavyweight rubber wheel chocks will ensure that the vehicle stays put or can be worked on. The heavyweight rubber that is reinforced with nylon will hold up to hard use, as well as the oil, grease and solvents that are often present in garages and service bays. Each wheel chock is also fitted with an eye bolt for a rope or chain, making storage and placement very easy. When fitted with a rope, pulling the wheel chocks out and placing them takes only a few seconds.
ESE Direct also sells the rubber wheel chock pairs or the moulded rubber wheel chocks that can be used for light to medium-weight vehicles. While these 4.3 kg wheel chocks can also be used for the lighter vehicles, they are perfect for ensuring that heavier vehicles will also stay in place. The pyramid-shaped, step-back design ensures a good grip on tyres and the heavy rubber construction keeps the wheel chock where it is placed.
A well-supplied freight loading area or garage will have several sets of rubber wheel chock pairs available so that no matter how many vehicles are in for transport or service, they can remain safely in place. Having several of these heavyweight single rubber wheel chocks available will ensure safety for all vehicles and employees.
Most companies will want to order a combination of several types of wheel chocks to have the correct size and type in each vehicle as well as available in service and delivery bays. Heavy-duty wheel chocks and light-duty wheel chocks are also available.
