Pressed steel folding platform truck with 'deadman' braking system

Platform trucks are an essential piece of equipment, every business that has the requirement to transport a significant quantity of items around quickly should have one. They're commonly found in warehouses, workshops, shop stockrooms and many more environments where shelving and racking systems exist with their primary function to reduce the risk of back and other lifting related injuries.

This steel folding platform truck has been designed for maximum functionality. The handle measures 885mm high which is a comfortable height to push, in addition the handle also folds flat to the base enabling operators to easily store this platform truck in storage rooms when not in use. To add further functionality this folding truck has also been fitted with a 'deadman' braking system, this braking system operates by allowing the operator to freely push the truck around as long the lever fitted to the top of the handle is fully pressed, once that is released the brakes engage bringing the truck to a complete, immediate stop. Also available is a steel trolley with foot-operated brake.

The robust steel frame allows the truck to carry loads of up to 300kg while the non-marking, slip resistant blue PVC surface helps prevent damage during transportation. This steel platform truck also features non-marking rubber castors, two fixed and two swivel 125mm diameter castors are supplied as standard.

Orders under £50 ex.VAT - £5.95 delivery charge.

Postcode exceptions: HS, KW, ZE, IV, AB, DD, PH, PA, GY, JE, IM, BT, Isle of Anglesey, Isle of Wight and Eire.

Standard deliveries are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm to the GROUND FLOOR or KERBSIDE only (unless previously agreed in writing).
We are unable to confirm exact delivery times, but we can usually confirm a day if you let us know in advance.

Saturday deliveries, timed AM or PM or above ground floor deliveries are available at extra cost.
Oversized products requiring a crane or hiab offload may incur an additional charge.

At the time of delivery

An authorised person must be present to sign for delivery.
Failed attempts may result in a return delivery charge.
A request to leave goods without signature is entirely at your own risk.

Please check your delivered goods carefully.
ESE Direct cannot accept claims for shortage or damage after goods have been signed for.
The only exception is proof of a carrier note that is marked as damaged.
We must also be notified in writing within 24 hours of the delivery.
Please do not sign for any goods as 'unexamined' or 'unchecked' as carriers will not accept liability for any subsequent damage.
