Extremely durable fully-galvanised motorcycle locking loops
Nowadays many people are choosing to take alternative methods of transport, from bicycles and buses to motorcycles and mopeds to get around. As a result its essential that business owners and councils provide the parking facilities that maybe needed. Motorcycle locking loops are a simple, yet extremely effective solution that grants motorcycle owners the peace of mind that they've secured their valuable bikes to a suitable permanent fixing.
Our motorcycle locking loops can be either bolted down or cast into an existing surface. Both methods have their merits, the bolted down motorcycle locking loop is secured by 4 high security shear nuts (fixings included) this option creates a minimal trip hazard as the unit is 20mm above ground but due to its bolt down fixing it can be removed and repositioned if required. The alternative option is a cast in locking loop, while the design differs slightly the purpose remains the same. The cast in loop presents no trip hazard and as the name suggests is set with concrete into a hole eliminating the possibility that thieves may try to remove the locking loop from the ground.
Both locking loops have a galvanised mild steel construction ideal for outdoor use, these long lasting products provide a high level of security and are designed to allow the bike owner to attach their own locking chain without having to remove their gloves.
The recommended installation for these locking loops is that a gap of between 800-1000mm is left between loops and a minimum of 450mm from any obstructions. The cast in locking loop should be concrete into a hole of at least 200mm x 200mm x 350mm (W x L x H). For motorbiking holidays and weekend trips, there are first aid kits designed specifically for motorbike riders.
If you like to tinker with your motorcycle but struggle to get underneath it, you might like to consider treating yourself to a vehicle lifting platform.
