Hygienic stainless steel wire shelving system with four uprights and four fully-adjustable 304 grade stainless steel open wire shelves - 1820mm high
Highly adaptable and useful in a wide range of environments, these stainless steel wire shelving bays with 4 shelves are strong and hard-wearing, as well as sleek and professional. The open wire design of the shelves ensures good airflow, keeping food, fabric or delicate chemicals in optimum condition. Rigid struts across the wire framework enhance load bearing capacity. They are ideal for kitchen and hospital environments as they are easy to clean and to keep sterile. The high quality of the steel means they are also resistant to corrosion.
The standard stainless steel wire shelving bay with 4 shelves stands 1820mm high on sturdy uprights. To ensure quality, 304 grade stainless steel has been used in its construction. This has then been electro-polished to reduce the risk of rust and increase its durability. The open ends and sides ensure easy access and make it easy to fit several of these shelving units together in a room. The shelves themselves come in several sizes, from 915mm to 1820mm in length. Extension units are also available.
The difference between a starter and extension bay is that a starter bay of shelving is able to stand on its own as it has two end frames / sets of uprights (one at each end of the bay), but an extension shelving bay only has one end frame or set of uprights, which means it needs to be joined to another bay of the same type of shelving to enable it to stand up.
Fully adjustable to suit individual workplace requirements, these stainless steel wire shelving bays with 4 shelves are resilient, high quality items with a long useful life. And to ensure you know where everything goes, packs of clip-on wire shelving label holders are available for your convenience.
