Safe, secure podium platforms for working at height

When working above ground level sometimes you need more stability than just one step, balancing on a ladder with your tools in hand trying to perform the task in hand can be tricky work, this is where a podium step can be your best friend, to be able to stand comfortably on both feet with room for your tools is a game changer.

Podium steps are available in a range of heights to best suit your needs, all models with a platform height above 500mm come complete with stabilisers. All models conform to PAS 250. These podium steps are fantastic, but if all you need is a little step up, our selection of stable steps could be ideal. And to keep all the components of your podium in tip top condition, we recommend the Laser maintenance fluid scaffold cleaner.

What is PAS 250?

PAS 250 is the latest standard set by PASMA covering all low level working platforms with one platform and sides protection, for use by one person with a maximum working platform height of under 2.5 metres. Developed in consultation with the Association of British Certification Bodies, The Health and Safety Executive, Hire Association Europe, The Ladder Association and the UJK Contractors Group. The standard introduces specific ability to fit toe boards and requirements for labels and user guides.

Delivery Charges

Free UK mainland delivery on orders over £50 ex.VAT.

Orders under £50 ex.VAT - £5.95 delivery charge.

Postcode exceptions: HS, KW, ZE, IV, AB, DD, PH, PA, GY, JE, IM, BT, Isle of Anglesey, Isle of Wight and Eire.

Standard deliveries are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm to the GROUND FLOOR or KERBSIDE only (unless previously agreed in writing).
We are unable to confirm exact delivery times, but we can usually confirm a day if you let us know in advance.

Saturday deliveries, timed AM or PM or above ground floor deliveries are available at extra cost.
Oversized products requiring a crane or hiab offload may incur an additional charge.

Lead times are displayed in working days, which excludes weekends & bank holidays.
During these unprecedented times, occasionally we are experiencing unexpected delays. If you have not received your item within the lead time shown please contact us and we will look into it as a matter of urgency.
Stock levels change daily, if you have a specific delivery requirement please contact us and we will do our best to help.

At the time of delivery

An authorised person must be present to sign for delivery.
Failed attempts may result in a return delivery charge.
A request to leave goods without signature is entirely at your own risk.

Please check your delivered goods carefully.
ESE Direct cannot accept claims for shortage or damage after goods have been signed for.
The only exception is proof of a carrier note that is marked as damaged.
We must also be notified in writing within 24 hours of the delivery.
Please do not sign for any goods as 'unexamined' or 'unchecked' as carriers will not accept liability for any subsequent damage.
