When there is a need in the workplace for strapping parcels securely, serrated seals are perhaps an ideal solution for ensuring that the straps are secure after fitting. Serration means that there is less risk of slipping, so that the strapping will not come loose during transit or storage. This helps the package and its contents to remain safe and secure for as long as it is needed. It should stay firmly in place until it is cut off.
The serrated seals for extruded polyester strapping come in two sizes – 12mm and 16mm. The 12mm serrated seals are available in a box of 1000 and weigh 6.4kg. The 16mm also comes in a box of 1000 and weighs 9.6kg.
The serrated seals for extruded polyester strapping work in conjunction with the 12mm polypropylene strapping and 16mm polyester strapping, the heavy duty sealer for 12mm and 16mm extruded polyester strapping, and if needed the heavy duty tensioner and cutter for 12-19mm extruded polyester strapping.
There is no specialist training needed to use the serrated seals or the complementary tools, and most staff can learn how to use them in just a few minutes. They are very safe to use and will meet the health and safety requirements of most industries. Other complementary items are available for purchase along with the serrated seals.
