Stability is key with this range of EN131 rated extension ladders
Available in a wide range of different lengths, these extension ladders are a truly versatile bit of kit. Available in a myriad of sizes up to 5.5 metres in height, this product is sure to prove its worth, and its heavy duty nature will ensure its longevity. The deep ‘D’ shaped rungs help reduce fatigue on your feet and increase working speed. The main feature that sets these ladders apart from others is the stabiliser bar. The stabiliser bar helps to spread the load of the ladder making it so much more stable than it's wobblier friends without stabilisers. Remember when you were learning to ride a bike, and you felt oh so smug whizzing around with your stabilisers. Take those away an you become rather less smiley, clinging on for dear life! For extra peace of mind, each of these trade extension ladders conform to EN131 safety standards. The maximum weight load is 150kg so you don't have to worry, even if you have a hod of bricks on your shoulder. And if you are using your ladder to access some flaking paintwork and need a hand free to carry out your maintenance task, a ladderlimb is a great accessory which simply fits into one of the holes on the side of your ladder and essentially acts like a third arm - holding on to your tin of paint, tool bag or box of sandpaper.
Depending on the length, these ladders fold down into either two or three sections. This makes them easier to store away when not in use. And when it comes to storage it's not always ideal just to prop your ladder up against a wall. The safest and most space-efficient way of storing them is wall-mounting. In order to wall mount you can choose ladder hooks, or if you're keeping your ladder outdoors in an insecure location, opt for a lockable ladder bracket to prevent theft. If you're looking for a really, really long ladder which conforms to EN131 and doesn't wobble around, these trade extension ladders would be an excellent choice. If you choose to leave your ladder outside at night, perhaps, alongside some scaffolding, or even indoors in a warehouse, it's always worth deploying a ladder guard for safety to prevent any unwanted access.
