The ideal solution to parking or roadway access control
The lifting support post can prove an useful solution for narrow entrances, where fixing a solid post into the concrete would significantly reduce the entrance width, making it difficult for larger vehicles to move in and out. The support can comfortably rest on the ground taking the weight of the post to ensure strain is not put on the mechanism. This can then simply be supported with the boom when lifting.
Our range of counter-balanced rising barriers for car parks and access roads will help ensure that you are able to effectively control all traffic in and out of the area. In busy event centres or offices, as well as places where extra security is an issue, these barriers make controlling vehicular traffic significantly easier. Available in 9 lengths to suit your entrance width.
These models feature a counterweight which is incorporated into the barrier arm and an integrated swinging support post, the pivot posts are surface-mounted, which makes installation as simple as possible. The pivot posts are made from hot dipped galavanised steel which has been powder coated red and the barrier booms are made from alumnium, coated with reflective red and white for high visibilty and warning.
These barriers are ideal for events where traffic access needs to be carefully controlled, they are easy and quick to open for when access is permitted and also for situations where security staff are required to check the identification of drivers and passengers or the contents of vehicles.
