A high temperature is a key indicator of infection and that is why many organisations and work places are measuring visitors and employees temperatures as they enter buildings. Infrared technology has made this task easy, no more repeated sterilisation of mercury thermometers which have to be placed in the mouth for minutes, infrared thermometers can automatically measure temperatures in less than a second with no need for physical contact and no need for sterilisation between each use.
This unit can be wall mounted or set on a freestanding tripod and is ideally sited at entrances or lobbies where everyone entering the site can have their temperature measured before proceeding. Temperatures are clearly displayed and if high, an audible alert and flashing light will make the individual and reception teams instantly aware. The thermometer can be connected to a PC for remote monitoring and recording temperatures (the temperatures only are recorded, not details of the individuals concerned).
Accuracy is +/- 0.2°c
Supplied with 2m mains cable.
