Essential fire warden kit incorporating a hi-vis fire warden vest, torch, gas horn and emergency light sticks, all in a reflective draw-string bag
Fire Warden Hi-Vis Waistcoat: This high-visibility vest is essential for easily identifying the fire warden during an emergency. It typically has reflective strips to enhance visibility in low-light conditions.
Torch: A torch is crucial for navigating through dark or smoke-filled areas during an evacuation. Ensure the batteries are regularly checked and replaced to maintain functionality.
Gas Horn: Can be used to attract attention and alert people in the vicinity to the emergency situation. It's a loud and effective means of communication.
Emergency Light Sticks: These are useful for providing low-level illumination in areas where power may be cut off during a fire or emergency. They are portable, lightweight, and have a relatively long shelf life.
Red Drawstring Bag with Reflective Strip: The bag serves as a convenient and easily accessible storage solution for the fire warden kit. The reflective strip enhances visibility, especially in low-light conditions.
Other essentials that may be needed could include whistle, notepad and pen and first aid supplies.
