Protect electricity cables from vehicles driving over them with these rubber cable protection ramps. Their tough, bridge design is able to withstand the repeated pressure of cars, HGVs and forklift trucks pressing down on them. Covers for cabling also act as a health and safety measure to prevent injury to passing pedestrians. They are perfect for outdoor events, such as concerts, festivals and indeed any occasion where electricity cables will be laying on the surface of the ground.
Suitable for both temporary and permanent cable protection, they are manufactured from recycled rubber and are moulded into a bridge design to allow cables, hoses and pipes to pass securely and safely along the length of each section. They can be deployed quickly and easily and come in 1.2m sections, making them suitable for any width of roadway.
This product is flexible, yet also heavy enough to stay in place once laid down without the need for fixing in position. Each section weighs 13kg and has dimensions of 1,200mm x 210mm x 65mm.
To provide maximum visibility, particularly in busy areas, the ramps should be laid using both colours alternately. They are 65mm high, and each cable ramp has three channels to accommodate cabling, hoses and pipes.

Free UK mainland delivery on orders over £50 ex.VAT.
Orders under £50 ex.VAT - £5.95 delivery charge.
Postcode exceptions: HS, KW, ZE, IV, AB, DD, PH, PA, GY, JE, IM, BT, Isle of Anglesey, Isle of Wight and Eire.
Standard deliveries are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm to the GROUND FLOOR or KERBSIDE only (unless previously agreed in writing).
We are unable to confirm exact delivery times, but we can usually confirm a day if you let us know in advance.
Saturday deliveries, timed AM or PM or above ground floor deliveries are available at extra cost.
Oversized products requiring a crane or hiab offload may incur an additional charge.

At the time of delivery
An authorised person must be present to sign for delivery.
Failed attempts may result in a return delivery charge.
A request to leave goods without signature is entirely at your own risk.
Please check your delivered goods carefully.
ESE Direct cannot accept claims for shortage or damage after goods have been signed for.
The only exception is proof of a carrier note that is marked as damaged.
We must also be notified in writing within 24 hours of the delivery.
Please do not sign for any goods as 'unexamined' or 'unchecked' as carriers will not accept liability for any subsequent damage.

Q. What kind of weight can the cable protector take?

Q. Can the rubber cable protection ramps be bolted to the floor?
A. Unfortunately not, as there is no holes in the rubber, it can only sit on top of the floor, free standing as such. This is true for both the 279.21.784 & 279.28.720

- used to cover Audio multicore cable in a temporary Church setting. Multicore is 23mm diameter - hence the need for such large cable protection. It is great because it is heavy, and just stays in place without need to stick it down
