Heavy-duty 1000kg capacity platform trucks with fixed ends and slide-in sides

So many businesses and workplaces need strong, durable and reliable equipment for the movement of large and heavy items. This is especially true of warehouse and factories and this equipment need to be versatile and easy to use. These heavy duty platform trucks are the ideal choice because they have slide in sides, have the ability to bear extremely heavy weights yet still be easy to manoeuvre.

Each heavy duty platform truck has a fully welded steel framework which supports the softwood platform. It’s the combination of this sturdy structure and the quality workmanship which allows each heavy duty platform truck to be able to hold an impressive load of up to 1000kg at any one time.

The fixed ends and slide in sides mean not only can you remove the side for easier loading and unloading, but you can leave the sides open to move much larger items.

The blue enamelled finish creates a professional look to these heavy duty trucks and protects the truck against future rusting.

Even with heavy cargo, this heavy duty platform truck is easy to steer and manoeuvre, this is because the T-bar handle is connected to steerable front wheels giving you much more control. The moulded plastic hand grips also create much needed grip to be able to steer a heavy load.

The heavy duty platform trucks are available in three different platform sizes and a choice of 400mm rubber cushion wheels or 400mm pneumatic wheel. Both have their advantages, rubber wheels won’t puncture and are long lasting, whereas the pneumatic wheels negotiate uneven ground better and have more grip.

Flat, open platform versions of the 1000kg platform truck are also available, as is a lighter duty, 500kg capacity truck.

Delivery Charges

Free UK mainland delivery on orders over £50 ex.VAT.

Orders under £50 ex.VAT - £5.95 delivery charge.

Postcode exceptions: HS, KW, ZE, IV, AB, DD, PH, PA, GY, JE, IM, BT, Isle of Anglesey, Isle of Wight and Eire.

Standard deliveries are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm to the GROUND FLOOR or KERBSIDE only (unless previously agreed in writing).
We are unable to confirm exact delivery times, but we can usually confirm a day if you let us know in advance.

Saturday deliveries, timed AM or PM or above ground floor deliveries are available at extra cost.
Oversized products requiring a crane or hiab offload may incur an additional charge.

Estimated Delivery Times

Lead times are displayed in working days, which excludes weekends & bank holidays.
During these unprecedented times, occasionally we are experiencing unexpected delays. If you have not received your item within the lead time shown please contact us and we will look into it as a matter of urgency.
Stock levels change daily, if you have a specific delivery requirement please contact us and we will do our best to help.

At the time of delivery

An authorised person must be present to sign for delivery.
Failed attempts may result in a return delivery charge.
A request to leave goods without signature is entirely at your own risk.

Please check your delivered goods carefully.
ESE Direct cannot accept claims for shortage or damage after goods have been signed for.
The only exception is proof of a carrier note that is marked as damaged.
We must also be notified in writing within 24 hours of the delivery.
Please do not sign for any goods as 'unexamined' or 'unchecked' as carriers will not accept liability for any subsequent damage.
