37kg walk behind broadcast spreader suitable for use with salt and a wide range of horticultural agents.

Spreading salt, seed, fertiliser and other materials over large open areas is a tedious and time consuming task, but why not make that task easier and quicker by using a seed spreader? Our spreaders are specifically designed for use with rock salt and a host of horticultural agents including seeds, weed killers, fertilisers and much more.

These spreaders are commonly used to help clear car parks and paths of ice and also be used to seed or fertilise large barren or grass areas such as school fields, parks and gardens. Improve efficiency by minimising refills, the large polypropylene 29 litre hopper (37kg capacity) is mounted to tubular steel support frames while a release control mounted towards the top of the frame allows the operator to start and stop distribution whenever necessary.

When in use the 37kg seed spreader's impeller is rotated through 360° the speed of which is controlled by the walking speed of the operator, a brisk walking speed is the ideal pace (3mph) enabling a consistent spread pattern can be achieved. Slower or faster speeds will alter the spread pattern potentially leading to uneven / patchy distribution. After use, we would recommend that the spreader is stored out of the elements and is thoroughly cleaned paying close attention to the shut off plate and the base of the hopper.

The unit is fitted with two large pneumatic tyres and also included with the Sealey spreader is a hopper screen designed to filter out contaminants and a rain cover for wet weather applications.

Free UK mainland delivery on orders over £50 ex.VAT.

Orders under £50 ex.VAT - £5.95 delivery charge.

Postcode exceptions: HS, KW, ZE, IV, AB, DD, PH, PA, GY, JE, IM, BT, Isle of Anglesey, Isle of Wight and Eire.

Standard deliveries are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm to the GROUND FLOOR or KERBSIDE only (unless previously agreed in writing).
We are unable to confirm exact delivery times, but we can usually confirm a day if you let us know in advance.

Saturday deliveries, timed AM or PM or above ground floor deliveries are available at extra cost.
Oversized products requiring a crane or hiab offload may incur an additional charge.

At the time of delivery

An authorised person must be present to sign for delivery.
Failed attempts may result in a return delivery charge.
A request to leave goods without signature is entirely at your own risk.

Please check your delivered goods carefully.
ESE Direct cannot accept claims for shortage or damage after goods have been signed for.
The only exception is proof of a carrier note that is marked as damaged.
We must also be notified in writing within 24 hours of the delivery.
Please do not sign for any goods as 'unexamined' or 'unchecked' as carriers will not accept liability for any subsequent damage.
