Strong chipboard shelves for use with medium duty widespan shelving
Within any business environment, there are times when additional storage is required. This is why we offer extra shelf levels for medium duty widespan shelving. These shelf levels can be added to the medium duty widespan shelving starter bay with 4 chipboard shelves or the medium duty widespan shelving extension bay to increase storage potential without adding one or more additional racking systems.
The shelves are able to hold items that weigh up to 320kg or more, depending on the size ordered. They may be used to hold any number of items, including paper boxes, larger parts, paint cans, chemicals, storage containers, inventory, storage and archive boxes, office supplies and much more. Shelf levels are adjustable every 50mm for ease of use and added convenience, so you can create a really bespoke shelving solution for your workplace.
These chipboard shelves which are available in a selection of widths ranging from just under a metre wide at 915mm, all the way up to 1830mm, which is almost 2 metres wide. It is a sizeable shelf and no mistake.
The footplates and frames on all of our medium duty widespan shelving units are constructed using heavy gauge steel in order to ensure durability and many years of use. The 18mm chipboard decks are supported by steel beams for extra stability. The shelving units are easily assembled and adjusted. No nuts or bolts are in sight as these shelves are independent creatures and are constructed without the need for fixings.
Perfect in a warehouse or workshop, the shelves offer a natural light brown finish and the steel surrounds a dove grey. The muted brown tones of these shelves would even look at home in a funky factory conversion apartment, imagine it packed full of your favourite pots and pans, loaded with pot plants or your best pieces of art - there's some industrial chic right there.
