Adjustable shelving with solid ends, ideal for commercial office use or industrial use where appearance is important
Suitable for front-of-office document storage where appearance makes an impact on clients, Duo Shelving Open Back Starter Bays offer solutions for a variety of applications in both retail and commercial environments.
All-steel, versatile and strong, the shelving is made up of individual components which are easy to identify and assemble.
For flexibility, the shelving is available in two types, a starter and an extension. A starter bay of shelving is able to stand on its own as it has two end frames / sets of uprights (one at each end of the bay), while the extension shelving bay only has one end frame or set of uprights, which means it needs to be joined to another bay of the same type of shelving to enable it to stand up. Multiple sizes and colour options are available.
The strength of this adjustable shelving means extra versatility in the types of items that can be stored, from heavy duty manuals to lighter files, up to a weight of 78kg. It complies with British Standards Library criteria allowing maximum storage of archives and files, both in terms of height and available space, yet offering easy access to contents.
The Duo Shelving Open Back Starter Bays are available in one standard colour and two optional upright colours (optional colours may have longer lead times please call us for advice).
