Duo shelving clad back starter bays 6 shelves is a storage option incorporating adjustable shelving. They are suitable for use in an office or industrial environment. The units are attractive which will present a good image of the business to visitors and clients alike.

The solid ends and clad backs of these shelving units make them suitable for keeping loose documents safely securely. The starter bays are self-supporting, in that they do not need to be fixed to the wall or floor. If, however, the shelving height to depth ration should exceed 4:1 for the top loaded shelf, for reasons of safety the unit will have to be properly secured.

This type of shelving can be added to with extension bays, resulting in increased storage. Before any extensions can be added, however, the starter bay must first be in place. Duo shelving clad back starter bays come with two upright frames, clips and cladding, as well as the six shelves.

The standard colours for these units are light grey. For the uprights there is the option of having them in dark grey or blue, the lead time for these options is a little longer, please call us for advice.

Duo shelving clad back starter bays are available in different sizes. The height and width of these units are 1850 mm x 1,000 mm or 2,150 mm x 1,000 mm. There are more variations in depth of 300, 370, 400, 450 and 600 mm.

Depending on size, the duo shelving can bear weights between 42 and 44 kg. The largest, 2150 x 1000 x 600 mm can hold just over 71 kg.

An authorised person must be present to sign for delivery.
Failed attempts may result in a return delivery charge.
A request to leave goods without signature is entirely at your own risk.

ESE Direct cannot accept claims for shortage or damage after goods have been signed for.
The only exception is proof of a carrier note that is marked as damaged.
We must also be notified in writing within 24 hours of the delivery.
Please do not sign for any goods as 'unexamined' or 'unchecked' as carriers will not accept liability for any subsequent damage.
