Duo shelving provides a versatile and effective storage solution for companies large and small. Over time these may need to be extended and this will involve ordering such things as an extra shelf and clips.
The clips are an important facet with this kind of shelving. Often shelving is fitted together using nuts and bolts which can be very time-consuming, which can mean taking staff away from their routine, but vital work. With duo shelving the system is much simpler and the units are all held together by clips.
Duo shelving can use one of two systems, either clad back or open. Clad back is a more private and secure form of storage and ideal for keeping loose leaf documents safe. If a company does not have these concerns then the open system may be the best choice as it is cheaper.
No matter what system is used, an extra shelf or more clips may need to be ordered from time to time. Obviously the choice of shelving being ordered will need to match the ones already installed in the existing storage. There are three types available and they include 1000 x 300 mm, 1000 x 370 mm, and 1000 x 450 mm.
Often duo shelving units do not have to be fastened to the wall or floor. If, however, the shelving exceeds 4:1 height to depth ratio for the top loaded shelf then it will have to be affixed. For safety reasons, companies ordering and attaching new shelving need to be aware of this.

Free UK mainland delivery on orders over £50 ex.VAT.
Orders under £50 ex.VAT - £5.95 delivery charge.
Postcode exceptions: HS, KW, ZE, IV, AB, DD, PH, PA, GY, JE, IM, BT, Isle of Anglesey, Isle of Wight and Eire.
Standard deliveries are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm to the GROUND FLOOR or KERBSIDE only (unless previously agreed in writing).
We are unable to confirm exact delivery times, but we can usually confirm a day if you let us know in advance.
Saturday deliveries, timed AM or PM or above ground floor deliveries are available at extra cost.
Oversized products requiring a crane or hiab offload may incur an additional charge.

Estimated Delivery Times
Lead times are displayed in working days, which excludes weekends & bank holidays.
During these unprecedented times, occasionally we are experiencing unexpected delays. If you have not received your item within the lead time shown please contact us and we will look into it as a matter of urgency.
Stock levels change daily, if you have a specific delivery requirement please contact us and we will do our best to help.
At the time of delivery
An authorised person must be present to sign for delivery.
Failed attempts may result in a return delivery charge.
A request to leave goods without signature is entirely at your own risk.
Please check your delivered goods carefully.
ESE Direct cannot accept claims for shortage or damage after goods have been signed for.
The only exception is proof of a carrier note that is marked as damaged.
We must also be notified in writing within 24 hours of the delivery.
Please do not sign for any goods as 'unexamined' or 'unchecked' as carriers will not accept liability for any subsequent damage.

Nobody is perfect, unfortunately damages & mistakes happen.
