2700mm wide bays of pallet racking prefect for industrial environments
Efficient use of floor space is essential for maximum economy in a warehouse or workshop as sufficient space must be available for the safe manoeuvrability of forklift trucks, and storage of pallets must allow easy access. Both galvanised metal and timber decking can be used for standard shelf storage when pallets are not being used.
This range of six pallet racking starter kits and six extension bay kits is made in the UK and with a maximum height of 6000mm gives a pallet stacking capacity of ten pallets per kit, using the floor as the first level, and the large range of sizes of racking allows flexibility in planning your floor layout. All installation fittings are included in the starter kits so you'll have everything you need to get busy building your shiny new racking system. It's worth knowing that the extension kits only have 1 upright frame as the other end of the shelf beams locate into uprights of your starter bay frame.
Racking beam heights are adjustable meaning that you can create a customised storage solution for your warehouse. The 900mm deep bays can accept two pallets of 1200mm wide x 1000mm deep with 100mm clearance at the side of each pallet, and the maximum weight of each pallet should not exceed 1000kg, giving a bay capacity of up to 2000kg. The 1100mm deep bays can accept two pallets 1200mm wide x 1200mm deep also with a maximum load capacity of 2000kg, giving 100mm clearance at the side of each pallet. The uprights are finished in a durable graphite grey powder-coating and the beams in a highly visible orange yellow (RAL 2000).
Matching pallet racking bays 2250mm wide are also available to complement your storage system. And don't forget to keep your health & safety officer happy and display your racking safety tags. These bays are available in heights reaching 6 metres. It's important to ensure that you have a safe method of reaching the upper shelves, and for that, mobile safety steps are ideal. And you can keep your warehouse rubbish in check by installing some waste recycling sacks to the ends of your runs of racking.
* Number of pallets stored is calculated by including the floor as the first level
